We’re seeking an experienced Senior Care Worker to team lead the delivery of outstanding care to our community clients in Biggenden.
This would suit an experienced Personal Carer, Assistant in Nursing or Support Worker with leadership qualities ready to take the next step.
You’ll support other Personal Carers in the delivery of care to clients, providing assistance and ensuring barriers to this are escalated appropriately. You’ll deliver support to your own clients as well as
- Leading and supporting your own team
- Assessing new client admissions
- Developing and reviewing client care plans,
- Ensuring appropriate staff are allocated to clients, based on assessed needs; and
- Assisting in the recruitment and development of personal care staff.
What you’ll need:
You’ll be driven to improve your clients’ independence and well-being with the leadership qualities to inspire others to do the same. A Certificate IV in Aged Care, Disability or Home and Community Care or other relevant qualifications in a Social Welfare/Human Services/Disability or Health discipline would be preferred, but not essential.
You’ll have several years’ experience as Personal Carer with:
- Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability Support
- Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
- QLD Drivers Licence and roadworthy registered vehicle
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
Supporting our clients in the best way possible is important to us. To be employed by Blue Care, you will be required to complete the free NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement and provide a copy of your certificate on completion.
