- Remuneration: $24.10 per hour + 10.5% Super + Not for Profit Tax Benefits (Increases your take home pay) + Employee Discounts
We’re seeking Personal Carers to deliver holistic person-centred care to our community clients in Mossman.
This is a great opportunity for Personal Carers, AINs and Support workers aiming to secure a permanent contract in a leading not for profit organisation setting new standards in aged care.
You’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
With no two days ever the same, you’ll spend your time on the road completing your scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients and their loved ones within their homes completing activities that include:
- In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry & ironing
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
- Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
What you’ll need:
- Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability Support (Desirable)
- Blue Card and Yellow Card or willingness to obtain
- Current Australian drivers licence and roadworthy vehicle as required
- Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
- Evidence of COVID Vaccinations
Supporting our clients in the best way possible is important to us. To be employed by Blue Care, you will be required to complete the free NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement and provide a copy of your certificate on completion.
