We have an internal opportunity for several Senior Care Workers to join our team located at our Kingaroy Nanango and Murgon Community Care.

Your role will be to support and provide leadership to Personal Carers in the delivery of quality care based on clients’ needs that promotes quality of life, and enhances the ability of individuals to maintain their independence and remain within their homes in the community. You will assess or ensure the assessment of new client admissions, develop and review client care plans, ensure appropriate staff are allocated to clients based on assessed needs and assist in the recruitment and development of personal care staff.

So you can succeed in this role you will need a Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disabilities, current First Aid and CPR Certificates, a current QLD driver’s license, roadworthy vehicle, experience with CMS and an understanding of person centred, community based care. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are also required and we would welcome strong leadership, planning, interpersonal and communication skills.
