Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Community Services Manager for a newly created opportunity overseeing Northern and Central Queensland services.


Both highly strategic and operational, your role will focus on maximising opportunities for growth, whilst ensuring the ongoing delivery of exceptional care to clients across these regional and remote communities.

 

Overseeing a wide geographic area stretching from Mossman to Monto and out to Mount Isa, you will lead and develop your management team of Care Managers and Care Coordinators, investing in their development to enable strong service performance.  

 

Leading care governance, you’ll advocate person-centred clinical practice, overseeing all audit and accreditation processes and managing outcomes through continuous quality improvements and risk mitigation.

 

You’ll ensure strong financial sustainability through effective budget management, whilst priming services for high-growth through community engagement, business development and proactive industry activities. You’ll drive customer-led innovation across your services with a focus on client experience and service growth.

 

What you’ll need:
With extensive leadership experience in multi-disciplinary community services, you have a robust knowledge of client-centred, care delivery across geographically dispersed regional communities. Your experience has equipped you with strong people engagement skills and contemporary industry practices, with a passion for leading change and innovation. You’ll demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications OR equivalent experience in high level service delivery and quality.
  • Demonstrated financial capability in managing large operational budget.
  • Evidence of substantial business growth through industry opportunities and community engagement
  • Experience with multiple funding models and maximising profitability through effective service models
  • Practical experience navigating relevant legislative frameworks, standards and government funding requirements and guidelines.


We are flexible with basing this opportunity across any location in North & Central Queensland.
