Position Summary

Blue Care is after a Registered Nurse – ACFI Coordinator to join our team located at our Gympie Grevillea Gardens Aged Care Service

 

The Role:

Your role will be to collaboratively consult with the Residential care team, Allied Health staff and General Practitioners to assess and support the completion of relevant nursing assessments. In addition you will monitor and undertake timely Resident ACFI submissions, Identify and progress opportunities to effectively maximise claims along with collating and reviewing ACFI assessment documentation packs. The ACFI (Aged Care Funding Instrument) is a resource allocation instrument that focuses on the main areas of discriminate care among residence. The ACFI focuses on day to day, high frequency aspects of care needed, measuring the average cost of the car in longer stay environment.

 

About You:

You’ll need your current registration with AHPRA, a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, QLD driver License and roadworthy registered vehicle, demonstrated knowledge of ACFI funding processes and strong nursing experience in residential aged care with thorough clinical, assessment and care planning skills as well as excellent attention to detail. Supplementing this you will have highly developed interpersonal communication skills to build relationships with our care teams.
