Position Summary

Your role

A unique opportunity has been created within our Aged Care and Community Services (ACCS) team for an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Organisational Health, until March 2021.  


Reporting to the Project Manager, the role will work to co-design organisational improvements for the Aged Care and Community Services and help engage Aged Care and Community services in the change and training components of various 2030 initiatives.


In addition to the above, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide expert level advice and guidance to Senior Leaders and key stakeholders on relevant subject matter - from legislation through to operational processes;
  • Lead the development and implementation of best practice, scalable and improved business processes in line with subject matter expertise;
  • Develop business process documentation;
  • Consult and seeks feedback from leaders and key stakeholders  on proposed business processes;
  • Provide onsite leadership and support to implement processes;
  • Provide onsite and virtual coaching within the services and with other key stakeholders;
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions as required;
  • Revisit and review process maps to match future state/ work instructions / training needs and training content;
  • Support the Change Lead to embed the change, develop training materials and tools.

We are seeking a pro-active team-player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills in addition to an ability to build positive and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.


Your skills and experience

It is a requirement of this role that you have experience in either aged care and community service provision or experience in people and culture areas.


Underpinning the above you will have the following technical competencies and skills:

  • In depth knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance and best practice operational processes;
  • Demonstrated previous experience working with and Aged Care and Community services provider
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at any level of an organisation;
