Blue Care are inviting applications from experienced Registered Nurses to provide Community Care in Mount Isa

Your role:

You’ll provide person-centred care to your clients within their homes in the community - ensuring a safe environment and applying best clinical practice that enhances their quality of life and physical, social and emotional needs. You’ll monitor care plans, maintain a responsiveness and holistic approach to developing needs and support them to live independently within their home.

You’ll work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, supporting one another to deliver outcomes and identifying opportunities for improvements centred on client’s health and wellness within their home. With no two days ever the same, you’ll spend the majority of your day on the road, completing your scheduled community visits, interacting one on one with clients and their loved ones!

Your skills and experience:

You’ll be an experienced nurse who is driven to make a change in the lives of our elderly clients through enabling their independence and well-being. You’ll be confident working autonomously within a community care based setting and demonstrate:

• Excellent communication and clinical problem solving skills
• 2+ years general nursing experience, preferably in aged care sector
• Confidence with smart phones and digital devices or willingness to learn
• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements
• Current Australian Driver’s License.
