  • Remuneration Value $30.81 – $39.12 per hour (FTE= $60,880 - $77,301) + 9.5% Super + Salary Packaging + Employee Benefits + Positive Work Life Balance

Blue Care is inviting applications from experienced Registered Nurses with full rostering availability to provide residential care to our clients in our Kallangur Aged Care Facility.

 

This is a great opportunity for Registered Nurses aiming to secure a permanent contract in a leading not for profit organisation.

 

 

You’ll provide person-centred care to your residents, ensuring a safe environment within the facility and applying your clinical skills to improve their quality of life and independence. You’ll 

  • Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope
  • Consider physical, social and psychological requirements
  • Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs
  • Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are met
  • Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members

 

What you’ll need:

You’ll be an experienced nurse who is driven to make a change in the lives of our elderly residents and enable their independence and well-being. You’ll demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and clinical problem solving skills
  • Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
  • 2+ years general nursing experience, post-registration
  • Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you hold a current Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate to practice in the State where employed? i.e. AHPRA registration
Essential: Do you have broad general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical experience?
Essential: Do you have extensive general nursing experience and can demonstrate skills reflective of clinical experience?
Essential: If you don’t have full working entitlements, do you have a current working Visa? Please list your visa, for example: Bridging Visa, Regional Sponsorship Visa etc.
Essential: Can you supply evidence of an up-to-date influenza vaccination in accordance with the current Public Health Directive for Aged Care Facilities?
Essential: Do you hold the required qualifications for this role? Please note you WILL be required to provide copies during the interview process.
