Position Summary
  • Seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support a busy project team.
  • 12 month fixed term full time opportunity

About the role

Blue Care are inviting applications from Project Officers to join our 2030 Transformations Project team.  Working as part of the project team, the role will support and facilitate the delivery of projects that aim to transform the service delivery for our Aged Care and Community Services across Queensland.

 

You will play a pivotal role in the provision of operational support to the projects teams and monitoring of progress against plans and schedule.  The role will see you:-

  • Monitor project plans to ensure project milestones are met on time.
  • Prepare project communications for key stakeholders including status updates, reports, and staff and client engagement collaterals.
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure effective interface between project planning, scheduling, and implementation.
  • Maintain project documentations (including KPI reports)
  • Facilitate the effective and efficient assignment of resources within the project and provide
  • Undertake other duties as required/directed as service needs change or grow (consistent with the above, within the scope of the position and any applicable Duties List and any other legal or industrial obligations)

About you

Demonstrating the following skills and experience will provide you a head start in the role.

  • Certificate or Diploma in project management or relevant discipline such as business or sustainability or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience using project management disciplines or methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and analyse detailed program and project planning documents including schedules, budgets and resource plans.
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
  • Experience or ability in planning and delivering capital works or facility maintenance projects is highly desirable.
