BlueCare invite you to apply to join our casual team of support staff working in Mackay and surrounding areas.

Work with people who have varying abilities who may be impacted by physical and/or psychological disabilities to help ensure they are able to maintain quality of life both at home and within their local community.
As an active member of your local community you will have passion, energy and a background that has seen you working or volunteering within a caring capacity role. Most importantly we are looking for people with life experience and a passion to develop their career in a support role.
To support people to live their best life you may be required to assist with the following:
- Provision of In-home and domestic support
- Support education with life skills, health and hygiene and some Personal Care
- Community access to attend personal appointments and social activities
- Support people to identify their life goals and to connect with community services including employment services.
As an integral part of the team you will be flexible in your availability and understand the importance of the role you in the team in deliver best outcomes. We work closely together and support each other in covering shifts where required. Hours of work are between 6am and 6pm however you may have the opportunity to work outside these hours whilst supporting people to attend social events.

Our process includes undergoing a Federal Police check and some positions will require you to complete an online medical assessment. We pay for both of these and it’s an easy process. You also need full working rights for Australia.
