Position Summary

ABOUT MORAYFIELD HEALTH HUB:

 

We are our proud to be forming part of this large integrated health care complex that will facilitate access to a range of health services through a team of GP’s, specialists and other health professionals under one roof, all working together with our clients and the local community to deliver the best health outcomes for the Caboolture and Moreton Bay areas.

 

This person-centric, wellness focused approach will enable customers to restore their health and build skills and knowledge to sustain wellness. Offering multi-disciplinary allied health services, Blue Care will provide health and wellness services ranging from chronic disease management to WorkCover and day rehabilitation programs. 

 

This site will ultimately offer a flexible design to maximise service offering and usability, pool and gym facilities as well as meeting and consultation rooms for both individual and group services.

 

Blue Care’s full service will commence in June 2018. In the meantime, we are seeking to establish an interim service offering in collaboration with the on-site GP Clinic. This will offer a sub-set of services tailored to key demand as driven by the GP Clinic.

 

THE ROLE:

 

This is an exciting senior leadership opportunity for the right person to create a community based rehabilitation and primary health service, delivering enhanced health outcomes for the Brisbane North and Moreton Bay regions. 

 

This energising, newly created, role will establish and implement a rehabilitation service delivering person centred integrated services within an interdisciplinary health team model.

 

As well as the opportunity to take the lead on delivering this unique project, you will also:

  • Be empowered to deliver new service delivery opportunities, and establish internal and external referral pathways;
  • Source and lead a flexible, responsive workforce through direct employment, partnerships and contracting arrangements;
  • Oversee and manage quality outcomes, customer experience and impact; 
  • Develop future new business opportunities, products and services;
  • Drive and deliver successful financial operations of the service;
  • And more…this is a truly unique, start-up role! 

ABOUT YOU:

 

You will be an experienced and dedicated health professional, with experience in the design, development and delivery of integrated health service practices.  Your expertise will be supported with the following:

  • Significant experience in high level management of allied health practice/s, preferably in a commercial, primary health, community and/or rehabilitation setting;
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing new service offerings within a start-up environment
  • Highly developed understanding and advanced knowledge of person-centred and consumer directed care, and an ability to ensure delivery of consistently professional and innovative services and quality outcomes;
  • Significant experience in stakeholder management and relationship building, particularly in building effective and sustainable partnerships;
  • Proven leadership and management of multidisciplinary teams;
  • Capacity to deliver agreed budget and service performance outcomes.
