Blue Care are inviting experienced and new graduate practitioners to apply for a fulfilling permanent opportunity in a varied, diverse health service. All experience levels are welcome for flexible hours!
You’ll provide holistic, specialised care to enhance and promote the independence and wellbeing of our clients in line with best practice. You will be knowledgeable and proficient with contemporary theories and technology and have proven experience in community health or the aged care sector - or a willingness to learn!

A challenging but diverse and rewarding role you'll be:
- Providing person – centred functional and environmental assessments and interventions within client’s home environments to promote independence and quality of life.
- Offering specialised equipment and pressure care strategies within BlueCare residential facilities
- Managing a wide variety of client presentations across many funding areas including Home care packages, DVA, TCP, NDIS, Commonwealth Home Support Program, and Residential.
- Providing long and short term rehabilitation and group programs e.g. Parkinson’s disease and Falls prevention groups.
- Working in a large, supportive multi-disciplinary environment with an allied health team including a substantial OT team with clinical mentoring support available.
- Provided opportunities to develop best practice
- Gaining experience in simple and complex equipment prescription, and major and minor home modifications
Your skills and experience:
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build great relationships
- Proven clinical problem-solving skills, with effective time-management and ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Confidence with smart phone and digital devices or willingness to learn
- Tertiary qualifications and current AHPRA registration
- Current Drivers Licence (and a road worthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance as required).
- A post graduate qualification or substantial expertise in a particular area will be highly regarded.
