We’re seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses, to join our Gracemere Residential team and provide person-centred care to our aged care facility clients.

 

This is a great employment opportunity for Enrolled Nurses with proven experience looking for permanent contract job security or casual flexibility in a leading not for profit organisation. 

 

Working alongside our Registered Nurses, you’ll provide person-centred, holistic nursing care to our residents. Applying your clinical skills and knowledge to ensure a safe environment for residents that truly enhances their quality of life - encompassing their physical, social and emotional needs.

 

Making a direct difference to our resident’s lives, you’ll support the team to deliver outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvements, centred on our resident’s health and wellbeing, including: 

  • Documenting and updating care plans in line with emerging assessments
  • Medication and wound management
  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living and recreational activities
  • Helping residents to participate in the community by providing social support
  • Providing assistance to other care staff and health professionals

What you’ll need

You’ll be an experienced enrolled nurse, confident in managing your time effectively and working autonomously, demonstrating:

  • Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
  • Medication endorsement
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in residential based care services
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or willingness to obtain

Selection Criteria Desirable: Do you have broad general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical experience?
Desirable: Do you have extensive general nursing experience and can demonstrate skills reflective of clinical experience?
Desirable: Do you have full Australian working entitlements as an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident OR New Zealand Citizen?
Desirable: Do you hold a current Blue Card or Yellow Card, or the willingness to obtain?
Desirable: Can you supply evidence of an up-to-date influenza vaccination in accordance with the current Public Health Directive for Aged Care Facilities?
Desirable: How many years of experience do you have working in this particular or an equivalent role?
Essential: Do you hold a current Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate to practice in the State where employed? i.e. AHPRA registration
Essential: Do you hold the required qualifications for this role? Please note you WILL be required to provide copies during the interview process.
