Position Summary

UnitingCare provides health and community services to thousands of people every day of the year through its services – UnitingCare Health, Child and Family Services, Disability Services, BlueCare and ARRCS (Australian Regional and Remote Community Services)

 

We are currently seeking a highly effective Business Performance Analyst to join our South East Qld Business performance team supporting our team (with a focus on Disability but exposure to the Aged Care portfolio). The purpose of this role is to provide performance analysis and business insight support to the manager of business performance along with to the wider stakeholder group.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the Manager, Business Performance and business with sound commercial and operational level advice and value add analysis to promote beneficial outcomes
  • Support the provision of systematic multi-faceted performance analysis for the service stream
  • Assist the Manager, Business Performance and senior leaders in the service stream to develop targeted strategies to improve performance
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly Performance Reports to the Manager, Business Performance, Group Executive and members of Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
  • Develop/maintain financial/non-financial models for key business drivers to facilitate improved financial performance and promote decision making.
  • Work with Service Stream managers and support staff to lead, monitor and develop capability to monitor and analyse own department financial performance
  • Be proactively involved in related projects in accordance with strategic requirements, provide project management services for projects and ensure that any resulting new policy and procedures are developed, documented and implemented successfully.

About you:

 

You will be a highly capable analysis with exceptional stakeholder management skills gained previously in a similar environment where you where intrusted to not just pull, evaluate and analyse data sets but also interpret those for the business. In addition you will have tertiary qualification in accounting, business or related discipline with previous exposure to performance analyst work with a strategic business improvisation focus in a medium to large tier organisation.  Above all else you will have tenacity and the capability to work within a multifaceted complex environment supporting large stakeholder group while maintaining strong positive working relationships.
