- $22.82 per hour (FTE $45,092) + 9.5% Super + NFP Salary Packaging
We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Gardener to join our team in Bundaberg!
You’ll ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the lawns, gardens and grounds and undertake minor property works including:
- Propagating, planting and pruning of the facility grounds
- Installing plant support and protection devices
- Constructing gravel and paved areas, walls and fences
- Manage lawn care and irrigation systems
- Responding to feedback and requests for support to improve the environment
What you’ll need:
- Solid experience in gardening/landscape/grounds maintenance
- Good knowledge of herbicides, pesticides and safe work practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of sound WHS practices
- First Aid/CPR Certificates or willingness to obtain
- Current Australian Open driver’s license
- Evidence of an up-to-date Influenza vaccination in accordance with the current Public Health Directive for Aged Care Facilities.

Essential: Can you safely and effectively utilise and maintain plant and equipment associated with the delivery of gardens and grounds services? Desirable: Do you have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks? Desirable: Do you have the ability to work autonomously, supervise others and/or work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team, showing attention to detail and technical competence? Desirable: Do you have effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills?
