Remuneration Value: $22.43 per hour (FTE $44,322) + 9.5% Super + Salary Packaging 


Blue Care are inviting applications from experienced Cooks to join their facility team at Henderson, Rangeview and Sandgate on Brisbane's Northside. 


Your role:

As a Cook with our residential facility, you’ll prepare, cook and serve food in adherence with dietary requirements with a strong focus on food safety standards. You’ll support senior hospitality staff members with menu design and implementation, whilst promoting quality standards and maintaining service with standard operating procedures. 


You will be driven, possess leadership qualities and take pride in your presentation. In addition you will be knowledgeable in relation to nutrition and be keen to learn the importance and impact of dietary requirements on our aged residents.

Your skills and experience:

  • Confidence in medium-high volume meal preparation  
  • Excellent communication and written skills, including basic computer skills.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent skills from previous experience.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain if required.
  • Previous exposure to nutrition and dietary requirement for the aged is desirable but not essential.
