About the role

Blue Care is currently looking for a part time Personal Carer Team Leader to join our team located at our Burdekin Community Care. Your role will be to support and provide leadership to Personal Carers in the delivery of quality care based on residents’ needs that enhances and promotes their quality of life. You may also provide personal care including showering and hygiene, domestic assistance and social support.

 

To be successful in the role you will need

You will need a Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disabilities, a current QLD driver’s license, strong communication and team work skills. Current First Aid and CPR Certificates would be desirable.

Selection Criteria Essential: Must have a clean, open QLD driver's licence
Essential: Must have advance computer skills.
Essential: Must have experience in managing a team
Essential: Must have a Certificate III or higher in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disabilities
Desirable: Experience in Community Aged Care and an understanding of community funding desirable.
Desirable: Must have or willing to obtain Certificate as Food Supervisor
