About the role

We are currently seeking to appoint a Quality, Safety and Education Support Officer to work as a part of our BlueCare Team across the Springwood Integrated Service on a full time basis for 6 months.


In this role you will work closely with our leadership team including General Managers, Cluster Managers and Service delivery managers to inform, coordinator, monitor and review clinical training requirements to support quality and safety within our teams. In additions you will support hub quality and safety officers to ensure sites are prepared for accreditation audits, while also compiling information in relation to incidents, trending and variances to address issues and make recommendations on further training and education to clinical staff.


To be successful in the role

To be successful in this role you will have a broad range of service delivery and quality systems experience developed in either aged care, community or health sectors with an additional background that has seen you training and educating allied health staff including Nurses and personal carers. Supplementing the above you will have strong reporting and analytics skills, a Tertiary education within Nursing and current registration with AHPRA.

Selection Criteria Essential: Demonstrated effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills
Essential: Do you have the relevant tertiary qualifications in a Social Welfare/Human services/ Nursing/ Health discipline?
Essential: Do you have a current registration with the relevant professional body?
Essential: Do you have experience in service delivery and quality systems in either the aged, community care or health sectors?
Desirable: Do you have demonstrated sound understanding and knowledge of person centred, integrated care services delivery?
Desirable: Do you have demonstrated understanding and experience in applying, the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and Aged Care legislation?
Desirable: Do you have a demonstrated level of leadership, customer service and problem solving?
Desirable: Do you have demonstrated effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills?
