We have an internal opportunity for a Disability Services Contemporary Practice Leader to join the team at Central Support for a fixed term of 12 months. 

You will be providing guidance and leadership in the development of contemporary best practice and service design for Disability Services across Queensland. You will develop, implement and evaluate quality of practice that supports and strengthens those being served by UnitingCare Queensland (UCQ) to move towards supported and inclusive lifestyles.

You will need tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field (Social Work, Psychology or Social Science) or demonstrated high level experience in community based human service practice, a current QLD driver’s licence, a current Blue Card and Positive Notice from Disability Services, or willingness to apply for and obtain the same.

Demonstrated skills in the areas of service re-design analysis and review of systems to develop innovative alternatives and development and delivery of training are essential. Your ability to collaboratively work as part of a practice advisory team as well as your effective negotiation, leadership, interpersonal and communications skills will make you a great candidate for this role
