Position Summary
  • Employment Term: Permanent Full Time

  • Remuneration: $26.25ph + 10.5% Super + NFP Packaging + Penalties & Allowances 

We’re seeking an experienced Hospitality Team Leader to join our facility team at Mareeba Aged Care Facility.

 

You’ll be responsible for co-ordinating effective and efficient hospitality services including kitchen, laundry, housekeeping and food and beverage operations.

 

A challenging and diverse role, you’ll utilise your hospitality management experience to lead our Hospitality Officers responsible for kitchen operations, food and beverage delivery, laundry services and housekeeping. You will ensure all services are delivered in a timely, cost-effective manner and in accordance with Australian food & safety standards.

 

What you’ll need:

As an experienced hospitality professional - preferably within the aged care sector – you’ll be self-motivated, enthusiastic, with great leadership skills. You’ll empower your team to deliver exceptional customer service, whilst educating and emphasising the importance of food safety standards and quality in everything they do. You'll demonstrate:

  • A completed Food Safety Supervisor course
  • Sound understanding of laundry services, housekeeping and food and beverage services.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to identify improvements
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.

Supporting our clients in the best way possible is important to us. To be employed by Blue Care, you will be required to complete the free NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement and provide a copy of your certificate on completion.
